On Sunday, November 26, 2023, the Opening Ceremony of As-Salaam Mosque in Tera Damai occurred. The event was attended by Ustadz H. Muhammad Nur Maulana who delivered a tausiyah with the theme "Mosque as a House of Worship, Unifying the Ummah". In addition to tausiyah, this event presented several community and government figures, such as the Head of Setia Asih Village, the Tambun Sub-District Secretary, the Chairman of the DKM and its management. In addition to tausiyah, various competitions were open to the public, such as fashion show competitions, Islamic dances, marawis, and calligraphy coloring. These competitions created an atmosphere of joy and togetherness in the community.

As-Salaam Mosque, which means peace, was built on 6,944m² land with a building area of 914.61m², capable of accommodating approximately 645 worshipers. The construction of As-Salaam Mosque in Tera Damai by the Damai Putra Group is part of the social and public facilities of the Tera Damai area, intended for residents and the surrounding community.

It is hoped that the spirit of togetherness and love for the mosque as a center of worship and unity among the community will continue to grow. This Opening Ceremony marks a historic moment that strengthens the role of the mosque in uniting the community and fostering diversity through various Islamic-themed activities.
