On March 9 2023 at the Glad Hotel & Resorts Seoul, Damai Putra Group and Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation (KIND) signed a memorandum of understanding for the planning of infrastructure and urban development in the Harapan Indah Area. This memorandum of understanding was signed by the Managing Director of Damai Putra Group, Caezar Joey Choong, and the Executive Vice President of KIND, Byung Chul Won, witnessed by the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, and the Indonesian Ambassador to Korea, Gandi Sulistiyanto.

Damai Putra Group, as an experienced property company in Indonesia for 42 years, will continue to develop all areas, especially in Harapan Indah. Harapan Indah is a self-contained and integrated area covering 2200 hectares, comprising a total of 8 districts located at the forefront of East Jakarta, precisely at the border of East Jakarta and Bekasi, West Java.

This agreement was made for cooperation in infrastructure and urban development projects in Harapan Indah as a follow-up to KIND's business trip to Harapan Indah in December 2022. Damai Putra Group, together with KIND, collaborates to share business opportunities in the Harapan Indah Area. KIND will obtain and review initial business information, recruit interested Korean companies, and provide various support such as feasibility studies, business development, joint investment, and financial advisory to Damai Putra Group.

Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, welcomes this agreement and provides full support for infrastructure and urban development projects in Harapan Indah under applicable investment regulations.
